ESPN has officially fired the former NFL MVP Cam Newton as part of a swift sweep of network cuts hitting both on-air talent and digital production staff.

A report from the Bluffton Police Department said six Flock cameras in town were damaged or tampered with.

Newton explained, though, that he enjoyed his time with ESPN and that it was almost like an internship because of how much he learned.
